Doremus & Kantor consists of five (5) attorneys representing clients on local, national and international levels. We have represented numerous commercial borrowers in complex financing transactions and troubled loan workouts and reorganizations. Our attorneys practice in all state and federal courts in Vermont and before state and local boards, agencies and commissions. We also represent clients at the state and local levels in the permitting and regulatory processes. Our support staff includes a paralegal professional with over twenty-one (21) years of experience in Chittenden County and eighteen (18) years of experience at this firm, a Business Manager and an experienced legal secretary. Doremus & Kantor serve as local counsel for two Boston law firms in defense of litigation claims in state and federal courts. We also serve as Vermont counsel to Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and advise them in many aspects of Vermont real property law. We act as agents for First American Title Insurance Company and provide legal representation to Chittenden County’s non-profit business development organizations.
